Throughout all the years of human history discrimination as a case of skin color, language, place of birth, religion and race has taken place (occurred). There are endless examples of how prejudices of people of a different race, based on the belief that one's own race is better has influences wars, slavery, the formation of nations and legal codes. The European and the American slave trade with the Africans, the holocaust and apartheid are some examples. However the term racism did not occurred prior the 19th century.
Earlier while working with this topic in social since, we studied only by reading the chapter about it. We both find racism an interesting topic, and that is why or choice fell up on this topic in particularly. In this presentation, Eline and I will try to find out why racism occurs, what we can do about it and what people thinks about racism.
